2-step verification or a passkey is required

Google requires the Google user who grants a new app access to Google Ads to have 2-step verification or a passkey turned on. If connecting fails with a security error, turn one on and connect again.

1. Open myaccount.google.com/security as the user who will connect.
2. Turn on 2-Step Verification, or add a passkey.
3. Come back and connect Google Ads again.
